Blocked soffit vents

This attic has both soffit and ridge venting. As shown the soffit vents are blocked by insulation and are not functioning as designed. The proper ratio between soffit and ridge vents should be 50/50. This allows the attic to be properly ventilated which will reduce heat build up and the possibility of mold forming.
