Chimney Not Connected In Attic

The metal “B” vent is not connected to the vent pipe that protrudes above the roof. This has resulted in flue gases entering the attic. This in turn has caused over heating of the adjacent wood and the formation of mold. Both conditions are detrimental to the well being of the inhabitants and require professional repairs.
