Buried Oil Tank

This fill port is from a buried oil tank, which was abandoned. Municipalities have different requirements as the removal of abandoned tanks, at this time most seem to be requiring removal but some will allow proper testing and filling of the tanks. Our opinion is that all buried tanks should be tested and removed. This will eliminate the chance that at sometime in the future you will be responsible for the removal and possible the clean up an oil spill. Such clean ups and removals can be in excess of $20,000.
