Improperly Pitched Hot Water Heater

The vent pipe is improperly pitched to the chimney, all vents must be installed with a positive pitch of ¼" per foot from the appliance to the termination at the chimney. In addition all joints should be mechanically secured and the pipe properly supported at 5' intervals using metal hangers or wire.
